The folks at Bemis Farms Nursery have taken care of the tricky, time-consuming steps—painting pinecones in a beautiful array of pastel shades and carefully cutting them in half—so you can focus on the fun part. Now it’s your turn to bring these charming “zinnias,” “dahlias,” and “daisies” to life by painting vibrant, contrasting colors in their centers. What you create is entirely up to you!

When you sign up, choose from two stunning options: 

Botanical Plaque – Arrange your hand-painted blooms on a wooden plaque to craft a timeless, everlasting bouquet. Whether you prefer a structured design or a more free-spirited arrangement, you’ll have an assortment of twigs and delicate, painted butterflies to add the perfect finishing touch. 

Whimsical Wreath – Create a lush, textured wreath using your painted pinecone flowers, along with the option to include the cut tops for added dimension. Lay the cones flat or on their sides, and tuck in soft green Spanish moss for a natural touch. Want even more character? Incorporate pastel botanical orbs, decorative balls, and dozens of painted butterflies for a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece. If you have the patience, you can fit over 50 pine cones onto a 12-inch frame (resulting in a gorgeous 18-inch wreath), or space them out with moss for a lighter, airier look.
