Comedy Night at Slater’s with Paul Nardizzi & Guests

Comedy Night with Paul Nardizzi, Will Noonan, and Andrew Della Volpe Thursday, August 24, 2023 – Doors 6:30 PM // Show 7:30 PM Paul Nardizzi is a Boston based comedian known for his rapid fire delivery and sarcasm.  Paul grew up just outside of Boston in Dedham Massachusetts.  He graduated from Bentley University before embarking on a career in stand up.  He made his first Tv appearance five years later. He has been described as a cross between Dennis Miller and Steven Wright.   Paul is a fan of both, although he prefers George Carlin over all others.  The greatest compliment he ever got was from the father of a comedian he had just bested in a comedy competition.  The man told his son, while in earshot of Paul, “He beat you because you say things funny, but he says funny things.”Will Noonan was named “Boston’s Best Comedian” by The Improper Bostonian magazine, is sometimes known as “The Honda Guy” for his job as spokesman in Honda commercials on TV and radio all over New England, and as well as for his fan-favorite role in the Netflix movie The Sleepover. He is well known for his internet presence. His Twitter account @willnoonan has over 16K in followership (including notable followers like Barack Obama, Joe Rogan, Jim Gaffigan, Bert Kreischer & Andrew Schulz. Also his jokes, memes and standupshots continue to attract millions of views on sites such as Reddit, Imgur, and The Chive.Andrew Della Volpe is a standup comedian from Boston. He got his start working as an intern at Sacha Baron Cohen’s Four by Two Films and has never considered a straight job since. During the pandemic, he performed small and socially distant driveway comedy shows. Spending the summer performing in backyards all over New England, Andrew was able to play more than 50 shows and was featured on CBS Boston and Mix 104.1’s Karson and Kennedy radio show.  In addition to working clubs all over Massachusetts, like Laugh Boston, the legendary Nick’s Comedy Stop, The Comedy Studio, and The Comedy Scene at Patriot Place, Andrew has appeared in the Boston Comedy Festival, the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival, and this fall, he made his weekend headlining debut at The Comedy Attic in Worcester. Andrew co-hosts the popular comedy podcast, Soft Boys, alongside fellow comedian Will Noonan. 21+ Event – Valid ID required / No Refunds

Comedy Night at Slater’s with Paul Gilligan & Guests

Comedy Night with Paul Gilligan, Casey Crawford, and Dave LambFriday, September 22, 2023 – Doors 6:30 PM // Show 7:30 PM  Paul Gilligan is one of the most requested comedians in Boston, bringing down the house with an attitude first developed as a high school class clown, and with material culled from his life as a blue collar worker, husband and father. In addition to headlining in Boston clubs, golf tournaments, fundraisers, roasts, and other events, Gilligan has appeared on NESN’s Dirty Water TV and is a regular on the network’s, Charlie Moore Outdoors with the Mad Fisherman. Among the national headliners he’s performed with are Pat Cooper, the Amazing Johnathan, Dom Irrera, Dave Chappelle, Brian Regan, Gilbert Godfried and David Alan Grier, as well as Boston-boys-gone-national Dane Cook, Lenny Clarke, Nick DiPaolo, Joe Rogan, John Pinette, and Maine’s Bob Marley. At one point, he hosted his own weekly shows at two Nick’s Comedy Stop locations, in Framingham and Saugus. A licensed electrician, he is often requested to work for trade association groups, including as master of ceremonies at the Boston Construction Awards. While not on the comedy stage, Gilligan is devoted to his family and community, where he’s particularly active in youth sports. Casey Crawford is an absurdist comedian who tells short jokes loosely based on his dumb life. From growing up poor in rural South Dakota, to struggling in New York City, to his current life in New England and his weird marriage, Crawford essentially narrates his underdog life through one-liners. Dave Lamb has been performing stand-up comedy in and around Boston for over ten years with many of the area’s best acts. During his time in comedy Dave has performed at clubs, bars, casinos, VFW halls, and rec centers, but can most often be seen headlining a classroom every weekday at an area public school, where he practices dealing with hecklers. Dave’s full-time career as a teacher provides him with an excellent source of material, as if his wife, kids, family, and friends aren’t enough already. 21+ Event – Valid ID required / No Refunds

Aquanett

Aquanett Samuel Slater’s Hall │ Friday, May 24, 2024 │ Doors 7:30 PM / Show 8:00 PM   21+ Event / Valid ID Required While the Aquanett experience is anchored by the sound of the 80s metal bands like Bon Jovi and Whitesnake, don’t expect a run-of-the-mill club band that just sits in the corner. Quite the opposite- this is one of the most decadent and colorful tribute acts today. Imagine Hollywood…the Sunset Strip…when bands like Motley Crue and GnF ruled the world, This is the scene Aquanett re-creates night after night. With a complement of lights, special effects and costumes, the full production of an 80s rock concert is brought to life on stage. It is wild, flashy and full of the decadence that marked the 80s rock. It’s the sound, the clothes, and of course, the hair…but most of all, it’s pure fun. Seeing is believing, but you know that Aquanett is truly an experience, unlike anything you have seen before…or at least since 1991!
