He was the winner of The Catch a New Rising Star, The Funniest Comic in New England and the 2017 Big Sky Comedy Festivals. In 2019 Rodrigues made his late-night TV debut on the Conan O’Brien show. In 2020 he released another 30-minute Comedy Special for the EPIX series “Unprotected Sets.” His comedy is honest and fun, constantly peppering in stories from his life and the lives of those around him. Mix that with a hilarious point of view and he’s able to talk about just about anything. Boston’s James Dorsey is an insurance salesman by day and comedian by night! After receiving his first D-minus for conduct in the second grade, Dorsey said he realized school was not his cup of tea and took his “disruptive in class” trademark to the stand-up stage and never looked back. He shares life experiences through high energy, witty acting-out, and playful facial expressions. His use of imitations and characters is incredibly vivid and entertaining. Dorsey was the national winner of the Catch a New Rising Star competition, as well as the Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival and has performed at the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival. His performance on stage has been described as “Flawless, smooth and original. After becoming a Comic-in-Residence at The Comedy Studio and a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival, she recently recorded her national debut with a Dry Bar Comedy Special. With an eye for detail and an understated edge that speaks to grandparents and frat bros alike, Kathe performs regularly at everything from corporate events to a basement show full of crust punks (one time, went great). Her weekly show, Farris and Friends Comedy Hour, even became “The Boston Globe’s Critics Choice.” They didn’t give her a plaque so she made one. She’ll show you later. Shut-in by day, lukewarm comedian by night, Jesse Farris has been performing stand-up comedy around Boston since the age of seventeen. Having recently moved back to town with a Master’s in English Literature and few prospects on the job market, she’s relying on her humor to stay financially afloat. Her sharp, “off-kilter” wit has been known to delight audiences and concern doctors everywhere (she never quite healed from that second concussion). Gary James is on the horizon of a new comedy frontier. Named 2016 Best Comedian by Boston Magazine, this absurd realist takes his curiosity and applies it to the wide world of weird. Petersen is blazing a trail of tomfoolery and now is the time to watch a hero rise from the ashes of comedy ruins. He was featured on the internationally syndicated Steve Katsos Show and was a semi-finalist in the Portland and Boston Comedy Festivals. His critical observations and dry humor have earned him opening spots for national headliners Lenny Clarke, Jeff Dunham, Steven Wright, and Dave Coulier.

He has performed at many other famed entertainment venues, ranging from the legendary Friar’s Clubs and the Waldorf Astoria’s main ballroom in New York City, to the main showroom at Harrah’s Casino and Caesar’s Palace; has entertained hundreds of prominent corporate clients; and has opened for over sixty international stars such as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, The Beach Boys, Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, Tony Bennett and Tom Jones. He co-starred in the Showtime movie, The Godfathers of Comedy and is also the author of six hilarious books that have won numerous literary awards. From a field of 150 comedians, Dave Rattigan “passed” at Boston’s famed Comedy Connection on just his 15th time of stage and has been a fixture on the Boston scene for two-and-a-half decades since then. His CD has been played on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, as well as AM/FM stations across the country and as far away as Ireland. He performed multiple times on the syndicated Steve Katsos Show and has performed in commercials for Olympia Sports and iParty that have played on New England regional TV stations. He’s performed in Dublin and Kilkenny, Ireland as well as at the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival (NH), Boston Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival, and Salem Comedy and Spirits Festival. Jim Ruberti is Boston comedian and actor who has been entertaining people for well over 30 years, starting as a child in the theaters of Cape Cod performing with Broadway actors such as John Raitt or Theordore Bikel, and progressing into roles as an adult at venues like the Barnstable Comedy Club. He has been a comic fundraising auctioneer and event host for more than 10 years, and a stand-up comedian working stages around New England. She’s been on Oprah, Dr. Oz, and The Howard Stern Show. Kerri Louise was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and starred in her own reality TV show called “Two Funny”, on The WE Network. Kerri has been featured on Comedy Central, VH1, and TrueTV countless times. She’s been on numerous TV talk shows, podcasts, and she’s a regular on Sirius XM radio. You’ve seen her high heels on stages like The Apprentice, Americas Got Talent, Comics Unleashed, Gotham Live, and she was the warm-up for The View. Kerri Louise can be seen at the top comedy clubs and festivals nationwide. Being in a household full of testosterone, Kerri needed an escape, which is why she started her Webisode, “My Mommy Minute”. It has become very popular on Youtube for almost a decade. That audience has inspired, Kerri to write “Mean Mommy”, a funny “How To” mom book and a children’s book entitled “Harry the Elephant has an Allergy”, both on sale now on Amazon. This two-time author, hilarious comic, and mother of three (4 if you count her husband) can be found performing all over the country. Andrew Della Volpe is a standup comedian from Boston. He got his start working as an intern at Sacha Baron Cohen’s Four by Two Films and has never considered a straight job since. During the pandemic, he performed small and socially distant driveway comedy shows. Spending the summer performing in backyards all over New England, Andrew was able to play more than 50 shows and was featured on CBS Boston and Mix 104.1’s Karson and Kennedy radio show. In addition to being a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and working clubs, theaters, and dive bars across New England for the past 5 years, Andrew can now be seen headlining regularly at clubs across New England including The Rex Theatre and most notably the Legendary Nick’s Comedy Stop. Andrew also hosts a weekly show on Tuesdays at one of Boston’s most beloved bars, The Bell in Hand. Dave Lamb has been performing stand-up comedy in and around Boston for years, with some of the area’s best and up-and-coming acts. During his time in comedy Dave has performed in clubs, bars, casinos, restaurants, and rec centers, but can most often be seen headlining a classroom every weekday at an area public school, where he learned how to deal with hecklers. Dave’s full-time career as a teacher provides him with an excellent source of material, as if his wife, family, and friends aren’t enough already.

He wandered in one night, quite by accident, looking for a little stress relief from a high-pressure job as a case worker at the Somerville Mental Health Center. Tony was working his way toward a Masters degree in social work having graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B. S. in Psychology. It was not long after that he took to the stage himself. Tony’s street wise humor tempered with a genuine feel for the human condition quickly propelled him to headliner status on the national comedy club circuit.In 1986 Tony V was named “Funniest Person in Massachusetts” by Showtime television. He followed this achievement with several performances on HBO, the Arts and Entertainment Network, Comedy Central and MTV. From 1987 through 1992 Tony V became the “spokesperson” for American Tourister Luggage. Remember the suit case smashing gorilla? It was Tony that gave the ape its distinct voice and temperament. Touring extensively in and out of his high tech forty-five thousand dollar yak hair gorilla suit, both Tony and his alter ego had many interesting adventures.Network television was next on list for this Boston native. Spending time in New York and L. A. paid off with multiple highly acclaimed appearances on Late Night w/ Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd w/ Colin Quinn and several sit-coms including Seinfeld, Boston Common, The Single Guy and Dr. Katz Professional Therapist. Having proven himself a solid comic actor Tony then tackled dramatic roles on television working with such notable actors as Eric Roberts, Ice T and James McDaniels from NYPD Blue. Tony’s big screen outings include State and Main, Celtic Pride, Housesitter, One Crazy Summer and Shakes the Clown as well as the independently produced By the Sea and Abracadabra. Tony has also produced and written on several shows for network and production companies. Boston based comedian and writer Kristy Kielbasinski draws inspiration from her experiences as a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. Infusing her passion for humor and literature, her children’s book titled “I Don’t Know” exemplifies her unique blend of comedy and storytelling. Kristy takes to the stage in her signature stilettos, at clubs, bars, and basements throughout New England. Her talent has earned her recognition as a semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival, Mohegan Sun’s Last Comix Standing, and Funniest Person in Massachusetts competitions. Liam McGurk is a Massachusetts-bred comic based in Boston. He is well known throughout New England for his laid-back demeanor and cerebral, creative material. Danny Devito being typecast?
